According to J.L.LE MOIGNE and R. THOM, the label \term“{Systems dynamics}” applied by J. FORRESTER (1973) to his models is “very ambiguous”.

R. THOM quoted by LE MOIGNE, writes: “… A priori, any model involves two parts: a cinematics whose aim is to parametrize the forms or the states of the considered process; a dynamics whose aim is to describe the evolution through time among these forms” (1972, p.19).

In some sense these comments are concurrent with those of the author of this work, who thinks that FORRESTER's dynamics is rooted into some more or less implicit postulates about the system's nature and the permanence of its interrelations with its environment (Ch. FRANÇOIS, 1983).
