Object type General information

State of a system that has already absorbed the maximum quantity of inputs needed for its correct functioning.

Sub-saturation induces the search of complementary resources by the system.

Over-saturation provokes the clogging of the structures and the braking, if not the blocking, of the functions. It can be observed mainly at the material level as in obesity or bureaucratic multiplication or, at the information level where an excess of data inputs overflows the capacity to assimilate and synthetize.

However energy over-saturation may trigger structurating dissipative processes.
