Condition of a process or system which never repeats itself perfectly, but only nearly perfectly.
Quasi-periodicity is typical of complex systems and closely related to chaotic determinism.
Quasi-periodic processes or systems are never perfectly predictable. Their behavior can however be forecasted within more or less narrow limits. This kind of predictability has been called “asymptotic predictability”.
