Logistic growth Template:Ency term are characterized by the progressive limitation of growth due to a Template:Ency term factor, which is directly proportional to growth itself.

The acceleration of growth precedes the acceleration of the Template:Ency term. Growth tends thus to look firstly Template:Ency term, but will generally slow more and more down as the growth Template:Ency term goes on. The alternative is destructive Template:Ency term or Template:Ency term.

In Template:Ency person's words: “… the decay of the growth Template:Ency term essentially follows a mirror image Template:Ency term to the initial increase of growth Template:Ency term until a Template:Ency term is reached, typically under a constant nutrition condition” (1968, p.43).

The implicit character of the Template:Ency term Template:Ency term at its beginning, makes it difficult to perceive before it is already in full swing. This is a dangerous Template:Ency term, specially in relation to many growth Template:Ency term triggered by man, for which the Template:Ency term factor is not yet perceived.

Serious problems could surface later on (climatic, demographic, ecological and the like). Besides, the most swift Template:Ency term of growth are also the most exposed to violent braking Template:Ency term.
