Object type Methodology or model

Any type of growth in which the outputs are not in an arithmetic relation with the inputs.

The relation can be logarithmic, exponential, logistic, asymptotic, etc…

For sound predictability, it is important to take the specific type of nonlinearity in account in any extrapolation; or to reckon one's uncertainty about the type of nonlinearity.
