Object type General information

Dimension below or beyond which a system is not anymore viable.

Any system corresponding to some defined type is unavoidably inscribed within survival conditions which impose to it a minimal dimension below which it could not have all of the needed structures and functions. Equally, beyond some maximal dimension the needs of the communications, regulation and control subsystems cannot anymore be satisfied, because sufficient resources are not available or cannot be transported. In both cases the resulting malfunctions lead to the demise of the system.
