The mind state of the user of a language, “i.e. a structure made up of certain items and certain relations” (after. E.von GLASERSFELD, 1988, p.6).
The conceptual situation exists “regardless of whether the structure could be said to have originated in perception, in imagination, or even as an illusion”.
In effect, the linguistic expression will be identical whether it describes a phantasy, a hallucination, or what is called observable reality“ (Ibid).
Any possible differenciation could emerge only if the speaker has a clear semantic understanding of his/her own conceptual condition, quite a difficult achievement.
