- “Such models should contain the minimum necessary activities for the system to be the one named in the root definition . Only activities which could be directly carried out should be included - thus admonishments such as ”succeed“ must be avoided
- “Conceptual models may be validated or justified only in terms of logic, not be mapping on to the real world, since they do not purport to describe the real world. They may however be compared with the formal system model in order to check that they are not fundamentally deficient” (Ibid).
