“A generalized model of any human activity system from the point of view of: taking purposeful action in pursuit of a purpose ” (R. RODRIGUEZ ULLOA, Glossary, 1999).
“It may be used to test the basic adequacy of conceptual models ” (Ibid)

Of course, all models, including the human activity system model , “are intellectual constructs … for use in a debate about possible changes which might be introduced into a real-world problem situation ” (Ibid).

Intellectual constructs should however be submitted to a rigorous mental technique of the kind proposed by J. WARFIELD, for instance, including the use of situation complexity indexes, subsumptive transformations, nominal group technique, and avoidingunderconceptualization introduced by clanthink and groupthink .
