Object type General information

A pattern that can be used for replicating some kind of element.

This is a systemic isomorphy for many types of stable structures bearing some specific function. Genes in living beings, or values and norms in sociosystems, are templates in their own field of action (L. TRONCALE).

But, how did the first template appear?

According to H. KUHN, it must have been caused by the emergence of repetitive dissymetries, which may have been equivalent to rules in the development and self-stabilization of automata (1976).

Environmental influences, when permanent or repetitive, may act as templates. Examples are specific gradients of humidity or temperature, that may condition behavior , for instance of bees or ants.
