The collective behavior resulting of reciprocal entrainment.
Syntony can be considered as a weaker form of synchronization. It is produced through the reciprocal perception by the elements of their more or less regular behavior. It is a phenomenon of resonance.
Syntony is present in many biological and physiological phenomena, as well as in social ones. The emergence of paradigms, or in German the “Zeitgeist” or the “Gleichschaltung” are cases of cultural syntony, traduced in shared beliefs.
In Evolutionary Learning communities (Template:Ency entity ) , a more open understanding of syntony emerges. K. BAUSCH describes it as follows:
- “Conscious intention aligned with evolutionary purpose ; more loosely, the embodiment and manifestation of conscious evolution ; a purposeful creative aligning and tying with the evolutionary flows of one's milieu ”(Glossary, Pers. comm., 2002)
