A general term for hormones and pheromones . The neologism is introduced by T. STONIER (1997) and considered by S. BRIER as “not a bad term”

Other biochemicals as for example Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) and Template:Ency entity and Template:Ency entity could, it seems, be added to the list. So could the intersynaptic chemicals in the nervous system .

Generally speaking, the new term aims at conveing the information transmission value of these chemicals and their role in bi-and multiple relationships and, as a result, as agents of sociality .
