It is now evident that information is a very pervasive feature of all kind of systems, under widely different forms as for example genetic, ecological, organizational or cultural.

Its transmission takes place in various ways: physical, biochemical, demographic pressures, through gesture, languages, etc.

One of the most interesting is by reciprocal perception as in fish schools, or among ants or bees. Another is through the observation of formerly constructed structures (stigmergy).

It even now seems that in human societies, information through electronic devices is becoming kind of autonomous as observed by S. GOONATILAKE: “… because of the internal dynamics of the expanding exosomatic system, new flow lines will develop organically, radiating themselves into new nichesartificial intelligence devices will give rise to novel solutions which eventually will lead to new flow lines” (1991, p.120).
