The Semantic Constellation concept is close to the mental frame concept (WARFIELD) or the frame of reference one (FRANÇOIS). All of these try to explain how we construct, use, and sometimes modify our mental structures (or possibly our neuronal connexions in our cerebral cortex)
HARDY also observes that in a SeCo, “the mode of interaction between levels and processes cannot be simply hierarchical”(p.39)
She states that: “…the SeCo — as dynamical network is…self-organized”(p. 40) and that “a healthy psyche is characterized by SeCos that remain labile” (sic)
Also: “…one aspect of SeCo dynamics lends itself well to VARELA's concept of ”mutual constraints“(Ibid.)
These constraints are biological, or interpersonal, or social. Moreover “these organizing factors are not intrinsic, but mostlyhistorical ”(Ibid.)
Training , learning and generally education give themselves in that historical dimension.
In a similar way, “in a specific SeCo, integrative and conative processes act as predominant organizational forces in the configuration andtransformation of the SeCo ” and “through the need for understanding (the attribution of meaning) and a need for coherence ”the SeCo turns operative as “intentions and anticipations seem quite pervasive”(Ibid.)
