The inner states of perception that we describes as qualities

Examples are the “blueness” of blue, or the “saltness” of salt. The ways these inner states appear (and in specific cases become refined, as for ex. in the perception of shades of green by a painter) is still quite unexplained. It is however the bedrock of our inner representation of reality and the source of the communication ability between humans who are supposed to have equal or equivalent inner perception of “saltness” or “blueness” or any other psychological percept
