A local processing node in an artificial network.
Neurodes have been inspired byneurons in biological (neuronal) networks . Accordingly, they have many incoming connections from other neurodes in the network, but emit only one outgoing signal , as the product of a single computing operation. The neurode thus executes a transfer function.
