An interconnected set of memes .(a neologism)
Co-adapted memes complexes “include languages , religions, scientific theories, political ideologies and belief systems such as acupuncture or astrology. Like memes , memeplexes spread as long as there is some reason for them to be copied. Some are true or useful, other are copied despite being false” (S. BLACKMORE, 1999, p.44).
The memeplex is a kind of general model for widely shared and transmitted knowledge or beliefs in societies.
Remains to be seen how it can be connected with some physical communication means, as for example integrate and fire mechanisms that could take place between human brains .
