T.ÖREN establishes this taxonomy as follows: (1990, p.28).

One wonders about value-free criteria. Does such thing really exist? Moreover, which are the criteria to establish criteria? However, this general taxonomy of selection modes represents an important advance, compared with the nasve ways frequently observed in practice

ÖREN himself observes in relation to value free decisions that “since observations and inferences can be erroneous, descriptions have to be selective and must rely on interpretations.” (p.29)

In other words, no decision is perfectly objetive and “aseptical”.
