A mode of growth related to the Template:Ency person Template:Ency term, for example in vegetals.
Divergent growth is a radial movement from a center towards periphery. It reflects a logic of Template:Ency term occupancy through the Template:Ency term.
The result is a progressive structural construction through Template:Ency term: The Template:Ency term is reflected in Template:Ency term Template:Ency term. The growth ratio responds to the so-called Template:Ency term, characterized by a Template:Ency term angle, which remains constant during growth.
In most cases, the subjacent Template:Ency term of growth seem to respond to Template:Ency person Template:Ency term and produce spiraled Template:Ency term, which probably result from intertwined Template:Ency term, rooted at the physico-chemical Template:Ency term, in accordance with Template:Ency person's concept about “The chemical basis of Template:Ency term” (1952).
The rate of growth, which is Template:Ency term, is under two Template:Ency term: one corresponds to Template:Ency term and the other to the limitation of available Template:Ency term. As a result, Template:Ency term occupancy takes place on a Template:Ency term curve akin to a geodesic. (In vegetals, converging towards the apex).
In plants, the limited Template:Ency term available for growth is defined by a fraction consisting of two Template:Ency person Template:Ency term: one as numerator, the other as denominator.
Divergent growth, as a mode of Template:Ency term occupancy, could probably be usefully researched in many other disciplines.
