An algorithm that “serves to describe a relation or relations between fuzzy variables” (L.A. ZADEH, 1973b, p.42).

L.A. ZADEH introduces moreover a special class of fuzzy relational algorithms, the fuzzy behavioral algorithms which are “used for the specific purpose of approximate description of the behavior of a system” (Ibid).
