“The (conventional) scientific notion (applicable to ”closed systems“) that ”identical“ initial conditions will necessarily result in ”identical“ final states” (D. Mc NEIL, 1995, pers. comm.).

This neologism is basically another way to enounce the basic tenet of classical determinism. It is at the same time an axiom and a belief, neither entirely verifiable on concrete systems, since none is ever identical to any another one. The concept has been introduced by Mc NEIL as a kind of counterpoint to be compared to the equifinality one.
