The inclusion of local order within global order.

The concept has been proposed by D. BÖHM, who also uses the term “implicate order”. It is related to his concept of holonomy, i.e. the law of the whole (1980, p.156).

Through the property of self-similarity, local order may reflect global order and vice-versa. This is the basic property of holography.

D. BÖHM and F.D. PEAT write: “This global property of enfoldment of information and detail has something in common with both fractal and FOURIER orders” (1987, p.175).

We should also mention WEIERSTRASS ' renormalization equation.

Enfolded order can however be unfolded, by describing the interactions between aspects in the system (p.156 and 184).
