“The executive subsystem which receives information inputs from all other subsystems and transmits to them information outputs for guidance, coordination and control of the system” (J. MILLER, 1978, p.3).

The decider is one of the 20 critical subsystems in J. MILLER's taxonomy of living systems. In complex systems, there are generally deciders at every level, responsible for their own level and sublevels
