The shaping of new elements or structures as a result of interaction between opposite forces.
According to D. SEIDEN and H. SABELLI (1992, p.720-27) any creation is co-creation, resulting from “unity, opposition and triadic space-like structure” (p.720). The basic root of co-creation is arithmetical, as “the science of form was born of art with the discovery of simple relations between string instruments and their sound (PYTHAGORAS), the divine proportion (FIBONACCI), the Golden rectangle (EUCLID) and other forms later found also in natural processes… These forms are the logic of nature, the logos (HERACLITUS) … Small integers, non-dimensional numbers, and some geometrical forms are ”logoi“, i.e. universal forms embodied in matter… In our century, THOM developed the theory of catastrophes as mathematical models for the simpler forms of logoi” (Ibid).
Let us also refer to C. LAVILLE's study of helixes and whorls fed by interacting fields of energy shaping forms and structures.(1950).
