Lena-Maria Stupitzky is a media artist based in Munich, Germany. Her work combines research collages and theoretical exploration with speculative narratives and visual media experiments. She explores how large-scale processes—including information infrastructure, resource flows, and agricultural terraforming—connect to ground-level material work, subjective ideals, privilege, and situated knowledge. She studied Communication Design and Media at the University of Applied Sciences Wismar and Munich. Since 2021, Lena-Maria has been working with Nick Förster on projects such as "Specters of the Internet" or "Thinking like a Forest". Together they explore digital media through historical speculation, technical experimentation and collective performance. Lena-Maria is a member of Kollektiv Crémbach, which promotes equality in the art world. With the group, she was represented at documenta fifteen and received support from Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung and the Lenbachhaus. For "Specters of the Internet" Lena-Maria and Nick received the „Kunstförderpreis Fürstenfeldbruck 2023“ and the LabAward 2024. She currently holds a studio fellowship at Gabriele Space. https://stupkodesign.com
