This Organization was created in the 1960's by the British cybernetist Prof. J. ROSE. It publishes since 1971 the Journal “Kybernetes”. It organizes every three years an International Congress of Systems and Cybernetics.
Prof. St. BEER was President of the WOSC until his untimely disappearance in 2003.
Prof. R. VALLÉE (Université Paris-Nord, France) is the General Director of the Organization and maintains its presence in Europe
