According to I. BLAUBERG, V. SADOVSKY and E. YUDIN: “It is impossible to cognize a system as a wholeness without ”looking inside the system“, i.e., without analyzing its parts” (1977, p.272).
Of course, the way we look inside the system is of capital significance. Instead of severing the internal connections between subsystems into elements, we use them as guidelines in our way of decomposing the system and never loose from sight the specific systemic roles of the subsystems and elements.
This is one of the basic tenets whose observance corresponds to the inverse process, i.e., reconstitution, which is the aim of reconstructability analysis.
