A basically top-down communication process .

Any process wherein the receiver of the message is not able to give any feedback to the emissor is undirectional and tends to have conditioning effects .

This applies for ex. to any type of cathedratical teaching, to written, broadcasted or television information , and also to computer transmitted information when the receiver is not supposed to discuss or elaborate on what is mailed to her/him.

It may be useful to a point in teaching, but it is frequently a tricky and objectionable process as when used for propaganda and even in many cases to publicity
