Any new emergent type at a higher level of complexity in an evolutive process is the result of the integration of elements pre-existing at a lesser level of complexity .
It avails in fact to a tentative explicative macro-mechanism for a generalized concept of evolution. This concept has been introduced by W. SCHWEMMLER (1991, p.153, p. 163).
It is in fact a systemic generalization of L. MARGULIS concept of symbiosis in cell evolution (1981). The concept is also more or less implicit in C. BRESCH work on stages in evolution (1977) and in V. CSANYI's zero-system model based on sets of components which this author calls “autogenetic system precursors ” (1993).
It could be very useful in the study of the world ecological and social globalization process presently in progress.
