The supremacy of technicians and technical views in the management of a human system (enterprise or organization).

Technocentrism easily leads to the “let us fix it right now” mentality, leading in turn to a vicious circle of problems-generating solutions. Technique, in itself useful or indispensable, should be evaluated within the general frame of reference of global optimization, and global constraints.
