This Society includes mainly scholars interested in so-called “General Systems” from Slovenia, but also Austria, Croatia and Germany.
Its center is at the University of Maribor and it has been impulsed since many years by Matjaz MULEJ, his colleagues and collaborators.
It has also close connections with scholars in India and the Template:Ency entity.
The most recent work of the group: “System Thinking and Climate Change System
(against a big “Tragedy of Commons”of all of us“, 2002) is an outstanding demonstration of the practical value of systems thinking as applied to vast and complex issues.
