Systems are more than sets. R. ROSEN observed that: “Most of the difficulties of ”general system theory“ have arisen from a confusion between systemhood and set-ness; the attempt to treat those properties of a particular system which depends on its systemhood as if it were simply a part of the Theory of Sets” (1991c, p.214).
This is related to the difference between cardinality and order relations.
