A formalized language based on arithmetics, whose aim is to modelize a great variety of systemic dynamics.
This language has been elaborated in France by a number of researchers under the leadership of Th. MOULIN at the “Ecole Nationale Sup+rieure de Techniques Avanc+es” (Groupe de recherches SYSTEMA).
As an example, MOULIN applies the model to neuronal systems. He writes: “Our long term purpose is to find a relation between ”parallel“ descriptions associated to morphogenetic potentials and ”sequential“ descriptions which fix at several levels the ”elements of displacement“ and, consequently the dynamics. This relation would integrate linguistic and informational aspects and would generalize the classical flux-strength equations” (Groupe Systema, E.N.S.T.A, 1988)
The models seems to have a potential for numerous applications. They are however are quite abstract and the proposal should be studied directly from the sources.
