The reference conditions of a system is a synthesis based on sets of reference signals relative to different aspects of the system's behavior .
W.T. POWERS who introduces this notion gives the example of a driver in a car, who is concerned simultaneously with signals related to the present state of the vehicle; to the state of the road, to the position of other moving objects; to the conditions of the weather, etc…
And all this is observational, i.e. depending on the physiological empowerment of the driver, that includes correct perceptions , synthetic capacity of thebrain and good performance of the nervous and muscular subsystems .
