As observed by E. ANDREEWSKY, PIAGET's genetic psychology's basic concepts are closely related to systemic ones. She writes: “A child builds his own intelligence by means of his interactions with both his inner biological environment (maturation of the nervous system) and his outer physical environment (his actions on objects) as well as his social environment (language, cooperation with adults and other children). The interactions between these interactions, which PIAGET calls equilibration, is the means of organizing this set of interactions into a system” (1993, p.187).
ANDREEWSKY also relates VIGOTSKY's Social Interactionism with PIAGET's social accomodation (p.188).
