- “A planning technique… used to plan and control complex projects, especially in the construction and engineerinng industries” (I.G. BLOOR, 1987, p,32).
There are different versions of this technique (see for ex. P.E.R.T.). In all cases, a global space-time graph of the successive projected tasks is established in view to define orders of priorities, compatible simultaneities, time schedules; to select the best combinations and to evaluate relative costs.
The technique requires a global view of the considered project and of its general environmental conditions, the present and as much as possible, the future ones.
