- “A morphogenetic change in a system's structure conditioned by that system's contact or co-presence with another system, variable or event” (K. KRIPPENDORFF, 1986, p.51).
KRIPPENDORFF comments on his definition: “… neither causes the change in the sense of forcing an adaptation nor provides instructions directing that change in the sense of an organizational input” (1986, p.51).
Thus, morphocatalysis seems akin to coevolution and could be a natural result of asymmetries, as proposed by H. KUHN (1976).
