T.ÖREN makes the following distinction in his knowledge analysis, from the viewpoint of machine intelligence (1990, p.27).

The whole concept of knowledge analysis should be carefully considered, and very specially the idea of knowledge decomposition, which could easily throw the baby of interconnected meanings with the bath water of digital computerization.
