As examples of this type of mental trap, Mc NEIL lists: “… dimensionless points, perfect planes and straight lines and linear dependencies and independent objects” (Ibid). One of the main efforts of systemics is to try to create less reduced models of concrete objects and situations… and to become clearly conscious that they are still models of reality, only hopefully somewhat less artificial.
