Arno Peters (1916-2002), a german historian, developed in 1952, the “ synchronoptic” model of world history, whose main goal is to produce the “ visualization of the concurrent” in history.
His model included 3000 facts related to all main human activities: science, culture, religion and politics.
This allowed probably for the first time a general synthetic and integrated view of mankind general evolution. It is an important tool to construct a systemic understanding of the whole subject.
Moreover, the model is useful to eliminate the biases that result from culturo-centrism.
