Object type General information

Any opening or gate in the boundary or a system that allows inputs in a selective way.

In French, the word “entr+e” is unfortunately very generally also used in the meaning of input. This obscures the meaning of “entr+e” as an opening in the boundary. The same confusion is also creeping into Spanish. The same problem exists with “sortie”, i.e. exit, but also output.
