Related to perceived images.

According to G. BATESON (1979, p.228): “A mental image is eidetic if it has all the characteristics of a percept , specially if it is referred to a sense organ and so seems to come in from the outside”.

We are of course left with the need of a more precise understanding of the connection between the “outside” and the “ nside”, i.e. the way the percept is transformed in a “mental image”, and even what is exactly a “mental image”
