“A virtual multidimensional world created and functioning through computers connected within a large network” (M. BENEDIKT)

BENEDIKT writes: “Every workstation within is a window open into a world wherein distances are annulated. Objects seen or heard are not physical, nor even representations of physical objects. They should better be viewed as pure data, as a kind of raw information”.

We are thus on our way towards a cybernetic culture, shared by all people who will, in a connected way, become users of the globally connected cyberspace which seems in the making. The conseqauences for future human systems are difficult to evaluate, but could be impressive.
