Object type General information

The set of topics debated by participants in a conversation.

This concept has been introduced by G. PASK, according to whom the “… individuals… participate in a process of understanding, retaining and learning that goes on” (1972, p.3).

Eventually, consensus may be reached or reformed about the meanings within the conversational domain, or some shift toward another domain may take place.
