Context neglect is a general and sure-brand recipe for unsatisfactory based research, as well as theoretical problems and the production of awful messes , when applied to practical issues .
K. PRIBRAM, for instance, writing about learning , as viewed by psychologists, states: “… the set of events in which information occurs, is as important a determinant of the outcome of … experiment as the information carrying signal itself. And yet it is usually this context that remains unspecified, unstudied, and often hopelessly shrugged off as being impossible to study” (1969, p.194).
No situation or issue can be aseptically confined and the needed “de-confinement” is at the same time one of the most important possibilities as well as a main responsability of systems inquiries through adequate context-connected concepts and models .
