The global intuitive way of understanding that results from the progressive integration through learning or training .

Common sense allows for quick understanding of, and response to many situations and behavioral experiences . It may sometimes “save the day” in critical circumstances that do not allow for long research or reflections.

The acquisition of common sense - which amounts to implicit immediately available knowledge for practical action - starts at birth and never concludes.

Common sense is however at least partly accorded to the particular culture in which any individual find himself inserted.

And, unfortunately, common non-sense also exists and may spread quite widely
