Talk:The Deliverance

From glossaLAB

Dear Yelena,

I have enjoyed your story very much, which of course includes the reflection that arouses. Some of the issues evoked by the story are pointed out by the end of your epilogue and some others were commented during the lectures. In my view, the most problematic is what if bad emotions have an important and positive value in human life. If you remember when I spoke about Heraclitus, he observed the importance of the oppositions to support the very order of reality, something that could also be mirrored in Empedocles' foundations of reality, love and hate.

According to the original idea, the epilogue should reflect on the parallelisms, similarities or connections to the work of other relevant thinkers. Though you didn't do that, your article on Huxley's work can be understood as a clear reflection about "The Deliverance". Moreover I, stylistically liked the usage you gave to the epilogue itself.

I bet you have enjoyed the journey. Most cordial regards,
