Talk:Data-Information-Knowledge-Wisdom Model

From glossaLAB

Dear Lukas,

After doing an AI-generated content analysis, I have sadly detected about 80% of AI-generated content (the tool used offers a confidence of 98%, so that when the detection is relatively large, by substracting 2%, the confidente is over 99%). As already indicated through the rubric (see the moodle inbox), the grade is modulated by a non-originality factor which now takes into account the AI-generated content and the length in number of words in relation to the length requested (2500 words). Since in your case, the non-originality index was over 50%, which in itself is unacceptable, and the length of the work was under the threshold, there is no way to reach the minimun required to pass the seminar work. I'm very sorry.

As regards the utilisation of AI-generated content, there's no problem to use it as a tool, but it shouldn't be used as the ultimate way to express statements. Your re-elaboration is fundamental to properly articulating what you have dealt with before and later in the article. You must be the real author, even though AI may provide you the hints that may help you to delve into a topic you don't how well how to start with, or how to continue when you arrive at a certain point, but in the work submitted there are sever topics basically ellaborated by the AI. In the future, I recommend you -as it starts to be indicated in the style manuals- to refer to the AI used as the information source utilised as support of a specific statement, or quote as you do with a human author using quotation marks when the expression is used literally.

Comment regarding bibliographic formatting

Dear Lukas,

Use please the built-in reference style and mechanism as I indicated in the message I sent you, which is compatible with APA style in the reference list (the only difference with respect to APA is the in-text referencing, which you're actually not using).

All the best,
