The external and/or internal synchronization of one or various systems or subsystems.
Timing is referred to the interactions of simultaneous or sequential processes. Such interactions cannot be completely random if the system is to maintain an internal coherence and survival capability in its environment. Timing is an order parameter and J. and J.G. MILLER's timers are timing devices.
