K. LORENZ writes: “Almost any higher animal has heredity-bound structures in the organization of its body and its behavior that takes into account such inescapable facts as, for example, that no two solid bodies can occupy the same place in space; that light moves approximately in a straight line; or that effects always follows cause” (1962, p.41).
It is obviously sequential chains of causes and effects that actualizes time as a perception frame. Such sequences must first be experienced by the young animal in order to activate LORENZ “heredity-bound structures” and lead to consciousness of time's flow.
